Parable of the Vine Growers

Jul 20, 2025    Dakota Darby

In this sermon on Matthew 21:33-46, we look into the parable of the vine growers. This parable illustrates the tragic history of humanity's rejection of God's messengers, culminating in the rejection of His own Son. We're confronted with the sobering reality that, left to our own devices, we too would reject Christ. Yet, this story isn't just about rejection—it's about God's unwavering love and His plan for redemption. The rejected cornerstone becomes the foundation of our salvation, reminding us that God's ways are higher than ours. As we reflect on this, we're called to consider: Are we building our lives on this cornerstone? Are we producing the fruit of God's kingdom? This message urges us to embrace Christ, not as the world sees Him, but as God's chosen and precious Son, through whom we find our true identity and purpose.
